Joshi Kausei, die Anime-Adaption zu Ken Wakais gleichnamigem Manga, lehrt uns, dass Stille nicht langweilig sein muss. Wir folgen dem Alltag des hübschen Pechvogels Momoko, der coolen und gefassten Shibumi und der erfrischend unschuldigen Mayumi. Doch eine Sache unterscheidet ihre Geschichte von anderen Alltagskomödien, denn Dialog sucht man hier vergeblich! In Joshi Kausei wird kein Wort gesprochen – hier gibt es nur Bilder, Soundeffekte und drei Oberschülerinnen, die ihr Leben leben.
